New Computer Setup

Your computer has been set up. It currently does not have any Antivirus, AntiSpyware, or Backup protection installed. The following products are recommended.

Note: If this is a new computer, it may have Symantec or McAfee Antivirus installed or the ability to install a free trial. I do not recommend that you install either of these products as they will slow  your computer down and are not as effective in protecting your computer as other alternatives. You may also consider the free AVG antivirus, however, it is not as effective as Vipre in protecting your comptuer.

Antivirus / Antispyware

• Vipre – VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware – The end of Antivirus as you know it!
• Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware – good for scanning and removing malware from your computer.

Computer Backup

• Carbonite – Inexpensive online backup for home computers.
